Privacy Policy
The short version: Notch collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no third-party trackers. Your habits, every day you log and your numbers live only on your iPhone.
Information we collect
None. Notch does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. The app has no login and no server to send anything to.
Where your data lives
The habits you create, the days you mark Held or Slipped, your reasons, your reminder settings and your Strict-mode choices are stored locally on your device. They are included in your normal iPhone or iCloud device backup, which Apple manages under your control.
Backup files
Settings lets you export a backup file (JSON) or a CSV of your days. Those files are created on your device and go only where you choose to save or send them. Importing a backup reads it on your device.
The widget
The home-screen widget reads a small summary of your habits from storage shared between the app and the widget on your device. Nothing leaves the phone.
Purchases
Notch Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the transaction; we never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with Apple on your device.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, Notch schedules them locally through iOS. Nothing goes through an external server. Turn them off any time in the app or in iPhone Settings.
Analytics, ads and third parties
Notch contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to opt out of.
Children's privacy
Notch does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Settings → Your data → Reset all data deletes every habit and every logged day on the device. Deleting the app does the same. There is nothing stored anywhere else for us to delete.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
