A habit tracker that
forgives a bad day.
Mark each day Held or Slipped. Held turns to ink. A slip leaves a crack, not a hole. Your number is how often you held, not how long since you slipped.

One tap a day. That's the whole app.
Name your line
Something to quit (No PMO, no alcohol, off the feed) or something to build (gym, read, early mornings).
Each day: Held, or Slipped
Held fills the day with ink. Slipped leaves a small crack and keeps the day honest. That's it — no journaling, no streak pressure.
Watch the wall fill in
A month reads like a wall you built. A slip is visible but never catastrophic; your consistency barely moves and heals as you keep going.
The number that survives a bad day.
Held ÷ logged, last 30 days
Hold a habit about 80% of the time and you get almost the same result as a perfect run — and it survives a Tuesday.
A month you can see
Every habit shows its month right on the home screen. The same wall is on your home-screen widget.

Questions
What do Held and Slipped mean?
Each day of a habit has three states. Held: you kept it, the day fills with ink. Slipped: you didn't, the day shows a small crack. Empty: you haven't logged it. Only logged days count toward your number.
How is the percentage worked out?
Consistency = days held ÷ days logged over the last 30 days. A single slip nudges it a point or two; it never resets to zero. The streak is shown too, but it's the small number on purpose.
Why doesn't a missed day break everything?
Because that's how people quit. Research on the "what-the-hell effect" shows one miss under a pure streak makes people far more likely to abandon the habit; holding a habit about 80% of the time gives nearly the same result as 100%. Notch is built around that.
What is Strict mode?
Off by default. With Strict mode on for a habit, a day you never logged counts as slipped once it is older than yesterday. Nothing is written for you — it's computed, and turning Strict off brings the blanks back. It's drawn with a dashed crack so you can tell "I slipped" from "I forgot to log".
Does the month reset?
The grid starts a fresh page each month, but your consistency number is the last 30 days, so it carries across the first of the month without a dip.
How does the widget work?
Add the Notch widget from your home screen. It shows one habit's month, number and streak. With Notch Pro, the Focus layout adds Held and Slipped buttons so a day takes one tap without opening the app.
How do reminders work?
Settings → Reminders turns on one evening nudge (default 9 PM). Each habit can also have its own reminder in its settings. Notifications are local to your phone.
What does Notch Pro include, and what's free?
Free: three habits, the wall, your numbers, streaks, the year wall, reminders, backup and the widget, forever. Pro ($2.99/month, $19.99/year, or $39.99 once) removes the habit cap and adds tap-to-log buttons on the widget. The first time you close the offer, everything opens free for seven days — no card.
Hold the line.
A calm wall, a forgiving number, and a crack that never becomes a hole.
